Legacy Platforms and Requirements
Legacy versions of FEMtools are available for the following platforms:
- Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, 10 (32-bit)
- Linux 32-bit
- Mac OS X 10.7+ on Intel 64-bit
- IBM AIX 4.3+ (64-bit)
- HP - UX 11.00+ (64-bit)
- Solaris 2.8+ (64-bit)
All versions are functionally identical with a uniform user interface (GUI) on every supported platform.
General Requirements
- Minimum 250 MB free hard disk space
- Minimum 1 GB Ram (4 GB recommended)
- A graphics card that supports OpenGL. The graphics performance will be better if the graphics card supports hardware accelerated OpenGL.
- CD-ROM drive
- A TCP/IP connection (for floating license option)
- Adobe Acrobat Reader or similar (for reading online documentation)
